The SANDLOTT Mid-State League begins the first season of play in 2009. After over Ten Years as commissioners for the GNABA Mickey Hiter and Chris Mercado are moving on and joining with Ken Perkins former Director of the Mid-State League to establish the SANDLOTT Mid-State League. The league seeks out serious-minded, competitive and highly-organized teams for membership. Most of the teams come from a 70-mile radius of Nashville, Tennessee. Notable exceptions are teams from Huntsville, Alabama.The Mid-State League is a multi-sanctioned league. On an individual team basis, teams can register with American Amateur Baseball Congress (AABC), National Amateur Baseball Federation (NABF), the Continental Amateur Baseball Association (CABA), the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), the Baseball Player's Association (BPA) and the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA).
